i've always wanted to learn more about greek and roman mythology my faverite gods r Hermes and Posidon cause Hermes cn go anywere and Poseidon cn control the sea. Favorite godessess are Aphrodite dont know how 2 spell her name and Hebe not sure i spelt it right. Most favorite of all is Hebe? cause she sounds nice. most awsome site EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In English the spelling of the god's name is Apollo, with one P and two L's.
You are right, I haven't written a short presentation of Apollo in the list :-( It was one of the first pages that I've written and I guess I was in a hurry to add something to the list! But I'll go and correct it right now!

i read the percy jackson series and i instantly was fascinated by their myths and i also like theatre so i decided to write a play for my class previously i had had some problems with to many people and not enough parts because i have 27 people in my class and a few others participating i went online earlier and only found a few things but your site has helped me tremendously oh and by the way keep up the good work.

I gotta thank you for this site cause I'm really interested in greek and roman mythology. I don't believe in it, but I like it alot. I read this book series called Percy Jackson and The Olympyions and that's basically merging greek mythology with the modern world. It's awesome and sparked my interest in the greeks and romans. I strongly suggest you read those books yourself if you haven't already cause even tho they're a lower level of reading then most, it's still a great series and I really enjoyed it. Anyways thank you and goodbye.

thank you for your comment. I guess you are right, I should read these books, too. I see many people mention them and I think they are a good introduction to the real Greek mythology and, as such, to the classical Greek and Roman culture which is the basis of the modern days Western civilization, because, in order to better understand who we are, we should know where we come from.

I have started this site as a way of making some money online. I never had enough time to dedicate to this site, that's why I don't get so much money from it. In the meantime, I just enjoy the fact that there are people who find it useful, it's a great satisfaction for me (and I'm sorry I don't have more stuff on the site, even if I have lots of ideas). Another thing that I like about it is the fact that it ranks well for the keywords I choose (as regards the look, it's made with SBI - for more info, click on the banner in the lower part of the page - which takes care of the optimization, site submission etc., I only have to add the content. I don't know much about HTML, that's why the look is very simple.) I never thought about hiring someone because of the money, of course! But I still dream about the day when this site will have thousands of pages, then I'll probably hire someone to revamp it :-)

i loved your website!! it really helped me with my school assignment. when i was first learning about greek mythology, i figured it would be boring but i learned that it is really interesting. i was wondering if you could add a family tree or something like that so i could see all of the greek gods and goddess siblings and parents and offspring without it being so confusing since there are so many and they are all related. thanks for all of the information! :)

you say that Asklepios is the god of medicine but i have heard it's Apollo. Which one is Correct?

Asklepios was Apollo's son. They were both called "the Healer". Apollo was the god of light and sun, arts, truth etc., but also of medicine and healing and he also could send the plague when he was angry. Asklepios was specialized only in medicine.
