Hercules Pictures

Here you'll find some Hercules pictures (his name in Greek mythology was Herakles, but in art he was mainly called with the Roman version of his name, Hercules).

These are some statues of Hercules. As you can notice, all the Hercules pictures represent him as a bearded man, dressed in a lion skin.

This other statue represents Hercules holding the sky on his shoulders. When he went to get the Hesperides apples, he met the titan Atlas, who told him that he is the only one who can take the apples, and so he convinced Hercules to hold the sky until he goes to bring the apples.
